Radical Self Love!

We should all love ourselves right?  Yes we should!  But we don’t always love ourselves like we should.

I try to live a happy and healthy life and I always talk about being positive and I truly believe in law of attraction.  I really do.  But I don’t always live that way.  And I self sabotage my goals constantly.  It’s a viscous cycle in my head that’s constantly in motion.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy and I have a good life.  I’m not saying I’m some pathetic train wreck here.  But I know if I just practiced more self love and gratitude every day my life could be more than good, it can be amazing!

Well it’s time to get my shit together, put my head on straight, love myself as I am and make the life I want.

The last month has been fantastic because my travel plans have really kicked into gear.  I hope to be out of my apartment by February 1st and then begin the next step of my “hit the road” plans by couch-surfing with friends and family for several months to really start saving some cash.  Then let the travel life begin!

But to really make this new life happen and to really love it, I need to start loving myself and CREATING MY OWN REALITY.  It’s fun and exciting to talk about it but to really make it happen and to believe that I deserve this, I need to start changing the way I think about myself and my life.

Well, this is where this new book I just purchased comes into play.

I’ve been following Gala Darling for about a year on Facebook and her blog.   I love everything about her.  Her message is amazing and she empowers all woman to love themselves, truly love themselves.

Today I decided to purchase her book.  And I am so excited to start reading it.

It’s time for me to practice what I preach and begin to love myself. From there, my opportunities are endless. We are only tied to the restrictions we put on ourselves and there is no need to live life in any way other then how we truly want to.

I normally wouldn’t talk about a book I haven’t read yet but I am so excited to read this book and couldn’t wait to share.  I will definitely do a review once I finish it.

In fact, I just got a thought.  Since I am such a big reader maybe I’ll add a page for reviews on books I read.  I read a lot, so much that trying to par down my book collection for travel is an issue.
